Which Diet is Best Did You Use to Lose 100 Pounds

I get this question asked of me from time to time. Did you do Keto? Did you do Intermittent Fasting? Atkins? Which diet is best?


The simple answer is that the diet I used was - all of them. I did Keto for a bit. I tried Intermittend Fasting for a couple of months at the beginning. Atkins snacks were incredibly helpful at different points of my diet and weightloss program.


Arnold likes to say, "the gym is a laboratory." When it comes to diets and nutrion, it can also be a laboratory. You have to find foods that work for you. My friend loves cashews. He can carry them around and eat them all day. For me, they cause bloating. So I go for pistachios. I used to drink 4 protein shakes a day. Now, I drink 2.


Do I do low carb? Yes, at the beginning, because I was eating over 500g of carbs a day! So getting that number down to 80g of carb, meant learning about keto and keto foods. Intermittent fasting helped me learn to control my appetite. But I couldn't do it forever. I like 3 meals a day.


Whatever works for you. As long as the scale goes down, then keep doing it. If you plateau, you've got to change it up.
